Don't change locations mid-video. It works best when the background stays consistent. Pick one spot, hit record, and dance.
Shooting from the floor looking up distorts proportions and confuses the processing. Keep the camera at chest or eye level for a natural perspective. A slight upward tilt is fine.
A steady tripod shot is ideal, but handheld is perfectly fine. The system handles normal camera sway. What matters most is keeping the camera roughly in place while you dance.
Walking from one room to another or panning across different backgrounds mid-video makes it hard to track your body properly. Pick one spot and stay there for the entire clip.
